What
The transcript is the saved record of a conversation. It can now contain a new marker, advisor_stripped, added at most once while Claude Code handles a request. It shows nothing on screen, like the existing thinking_stripped marker.
Compaction shrinks an older conversation to save space. When compaction keeps only part of the conversation, this marker is kept too.
Why
The marker leaves a trace in the transcript without adding anything you can see.

The finding does not confirm what triggers the marker, only that it probably follows advisor content being removed from a request.
