What
Workspace trust is the step where you confirm that you trust a project folder. When recording that trust fails, Claude Code writes a message to its log, which is a diagnostic text record. That message now reads "re-applying project settings after recording workspace trust failed (continuing)" without the "initialize:" prefix it had before.
Separately, the text that explains a read-only decision was moved into a single shared value in the code. That wording is not described as changing.
Why
This only changes log text. If you search your logs for the old message with its "initialize:" prefix, that search will no longer find it.
