The [git-lfs] warning now runs only when the source is of the kind cloned. It uses that source's own lfsPointerScan result to decide what to report. Git LFS (Git Large File Storage) is a git add-on that keeps big files outside the repository and leaves small placeholder "pointer" files in their place.
