What
Some hosts run Claude Code diskless, meaning without files written to disk. In that case, background agents restored after a resume are now marked as unable to read an output file. The notices shown to the model about resumed background shells and tasks also drop two pieces of advice:
"Check the output file for partial results before assuming it completed."
"Check each worktree/output for partial work before assuming a task landed."
Why
With no disk, those files do not exist, so the model is no longer sent looking for results it cannot find.
