What probably matters to youSection of the release
What
The /artifacts panel lists artifacts, shareable pieces of content Claude can publish, and lets you attach one to your session. It now works from the artifacts in the current session:
This session's artifacts can appear before the full list finishes loading. Until then only o, c, x and, for attached artifacts, Enter work.
Enter opens an artifact that is already attached, and attaches it otherwise.
The highlighted artifact stays selected when the list refreshes.
The visible list shows 10 rows instead of 20.
Detaching can remove several links that belong to the same artifact.
Key hints are drawn from one shared list, with space reserved so the panel does not jump in height.
Why
The panel is usable sooner and pressing Enter twice no longer does the same thing twice. Because the page is shorter, you may need to scroll to reach artifacts further down.
The entry above is what we published on the day. These lines were added later, as Anthropic's own pages caught up, and they sit beside the original rather than replacing it.
Confirmed sinceAnthropic's documentation has since written up /artifacts, on Claude Code changelog.* Fixed earlier extended thinking being dropped when `/model`, `/rename`, `/artifacts` or another immediate slash command was used while Claude was workingchangelogsee the edit
