Artifact read_file and preview refuse paths that cannot be resolved

What

Artifacts are published files that Claude Code can save to your machine or show as a preview. Their path checks are now stricter:

• read_file saves published artifact files into a local folder. It already refused an out_dir (the folder to save into) that named a network path. It now also refuses an out_dir that cannot be resolved. The error now reads "read_file saves only to local directories - out_dir names a network path or cannot be resolved."
• Preview has a new refusal message: "preview renders local files only; this path, or a link on the way to it, reaches a network share, or a directory or link on the way could not be examined."

Why

When Claude Code cannot work out where a path really leads, it now refuses instead of going ahead. If you see one of these errors for a folder you believe is local, one of the folders or links along its path may be one Claude Code could not examine.
