The details Claude Code keeps about an artifact now include publishPreconditions: true when the source data sets it. When it is set, writing or removing files in that artifact goes through a precondition check, which confirms each file is still what Claude Code expects before changing it.
Why
This lets per-file conflict checks on publishing be switched on for individual artifacts, so edits are less likely to overwrite changes made elsewhere.
