GIT_SHA in Build Metadata

Build metadata now includes a GIT_SHA field tracking the exact git commit: 9e176d0772418b8b88475d39fb86c651a12f4aad. This appears in verbose version output and error reports.

Evidence

GIT_SHA field (search for "GIT_SHA") — present in all version constant blocks

Strings lifted out of the shipped bundle, so the claim above can be checked against them.
