When upgrading to v1.0.22, Claude Code will automatically:
- Check for existing files in
~/.claude/ - Create new XDG-compliant directory structure
- Migrate your existing data to the new locations
- Create a migration marker to prevent repeated migrations
Your existing configurations, sessions, and data will be preserved during the migration.
