404404A profile's `enforcement_status` and `enforcement_actions` fields report the enforcement actions that Anthropic has open on the end customer. An enforcement action is a restriction or a ban. Every response that returns a profile includes both fields: create, retrieve, update, and each profile in a list. Send these requests with no `user-profiles-` value in the `anthropic-beta` header, because `user-profiles-2026-09-04` and earlier values leave the fields out. The following example shows the fields on a retrieved profile, with the other fields left out:
