Connectors link Claude Code to outside services through claude.ai. Claude Code now adds high-priority system reminders about this when a session may hold files downloaded from connectors. A system reminder is a note Claude Code adds to the conversation for the model to read. These reminders go into loops Claude Code starts. They are not added to bare forks, which are plain copies of a session.\n\nThe session also remembers which side it is locked to, either web or connectors, and saves that choice with the session.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis links the new connector downloads to the existing rule that keeps connector data and web access apart.\n\n- Area: Connectors\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: org\n- Heads-up: no"}
