Before, if a request was refused, Claude Code always stopped sending that header. Now, after server errors (HTTP 5xx), it only logs the problem and retries without the header when a further check passes. Otherwise the next request sends the header again.\n\nOther changes:\n\n- The warning now tells you to let your proxy or gateway pass that header through.\n\n- When permission prompts are refused automatically instead of shown, for example in an unattended run, the notice about falling back to a billed safety check is added as a system warning and is marked as unacknowledged.\n\n- In the same situation, the check that decides network access for sandboxed commands fails closed, meaning it reports itself unavailable instead of allowing access.\n\n**Why**\n\nAuto mode degrades more safely behind proxies and gateways and in runs with nobody watching. If you use a proxy, make sure it passes Claude Code's headers through.\n\n- Area: Auto Mode\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 1\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
