A new hidden `--web` option adds it as a claude.ai connector instead. A connector is a server linked to your claude.ai account. It does not appear in the command's help.\n\nWith `--web`, you give a name and an https address. Claude Code then:\n\n- checks the address\n\n- looks for the connector in your claude.ai connectors and the connector directory\n\n- opens claude.ai so you can finish connecting\n\n- keeps checking until the connector shows as connected\n\nIt refuses when:\n\n- the address contains secrets\n\n- your organisation has locked down this setting\n\n- you are on a Team or Enterprise plan\n\nThe option is off unless the server switches it on. Until then, using it prints \"--web isn't available yet\" and suggests removing `--web` and using `--transport http` for an https address.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis would let you add a claude.ai connector without leaving the terminal. For now, most people will see the not-available message and can use `--transport http` to add the server locally instead.\n\n- Flag `tengu_twinkling_aurora`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.318; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: MCP\n- Names: `claude mcp add`\n- Tier: Use it now\n- Useful: 5\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
