Whether it applies is now worked out separately for each reason. Remote switches decide it. These are settings Claude Code reads from Anthropic's servers.\n\nA main switch, `tengu_cosmic_crayon`, is read first. If it is not on, nothing about the prompt changes. If it is on, the reasons are handled like this:\n\n- `rate_limit` and `no_request_token`: the prompt applies.\n\n- `server_error` and `model_not_found`: these follow a second switch, `tengu_cozy_pinwheel`.\n\n- `other`, a new reason: this follows a third switch, `tengu_abstract_thunder`.\n\nBefore, only `server_error` and `model_not_found` were given a second check. When this site last read them, the main switch and `tengu_cozy_pinwheel` both came back off, for this site's account and for an anonymous account.\n\n**Why**\n\nThe new `other` reason has its own switch.
