Removing a team is now more careful:\n\n- Sending a message: Claude Code first checks that the team still exists, and writes nothing if the team was deleted.\n\n- Messages that arrive during a deletion: if a message creates a new inbox file at the moment the team is being deleted, that file is removed.\n\n- Removing the team folder: Claude Code renames it, then keeps trying to delete it until it is gone. Before, it tried once.\n\n- Shutdown approvals: an approval sent before a member joined the team is ignored, with a note saying so.\n\n**Why**\n\nDeleted teams should no longer leave inbox files lying around. A new member should no longer act on a shutdown approval that was meant for an earlier one.\n\n- Area: Teammates\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
