When you resume one, Claude Code used to remove any prompt that had not been sent from the message list. It now removes it only under a particular condition. Otherwise it keeps the prompt in the list, marks it as a placeholder rather than a real message, and records that the prompt went unsent.\n\nThis sits behind a remote switch that is off unless it is turned on from the server. In readings taken before this release, that switch was on for this site's account and for a signed-out baseline, and it had been switched on since the reading before that.\n\n**Why**\n\nIt changes what happens to a prompt you had not sent yet when a remote session resumes.\n\n- Flag `tengu_silly_waterfall`: Off by default, switched on for this account (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.317; this account: on, anonymous baseline: on, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Sessions\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
