If the input to the tool call contains the email address of the account you are signed in with, Claude Code asks you before going ahead. The message says the input holds your account email address, which may leave this machine, and tells Claude to go on without it if nobody asked to send it.\n\nThe check covers these tools:\n\n- WebBrowser, WebFetch and WebSearch\n\n- Bash, PowerShell, Monitor and Tmux\n\nFor the shell tools, it only asks when the command looks like it will reach the network.\n\nThe check is set to be enabled by default, and whether it is enabled can only be changed from trusted settings.\n\n**Why**\n\nYou may start seeing this permission prompt during normal work. It stops your email address from being sent to a website or remote service without you noticing.\n\n- Flag `tengu_wise_newt`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.317; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: on) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Permissions\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 3\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: yes"}
