When a `\/goal` message arrives relayed from Slack, Teams or a project thread, Claude Code now answers with a fixed text reply instead of acting on it:\n\n\"This message was relayed from Slack, Teams or a project thread and may be someone else's, so \/goal didn't set, clear or show the goal.\"\n\nThe reply tells you to send `\/goal` yourself from the terminal, the Claude app, claude.ai\/code or your own Remote Control app. The check applies when the request came over the bridge and was verified as a Slack human turn, and sits behind the `tengu_mellow_sunset` switch, which has not been read. Before, `\/goal` always went ahead.\n\n**Why**\n\nA relayed message may have been written by someone else, so they can no longer change your goal through it. To use `\/goal`, send it from one of your own surfaces.\n\n- Flag `tengu_mellow_sunset`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.317; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: on) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Slack\n- Names: `\/goal`\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: yes"}
