It does not work yet.\n\n- `escTakeBack`: a new part of each session is created and exposed under this name. It is told when messages are sent and when turns end. It uses the reason `auto_restore_cancel`.\n\n- Empty rewind: the parts that should actually rewind the conversation are empty. `beforeInterrupt` does nothing and returns, and the step that would use the sent messages, the rows on screen at the moment of Esc, the last seen message and the send count also has no body.\n\n- Related additions: the REPL (Claude Code's interactive prompt screen) gains `restoreDraftsFrom` alongside `escTakeBack`. The session controller gains `askAboutSessionOwner`, and loading a session to resume it now returns a `sessionOwner` field.\n\n**Why**\n\nPressing Esc behaves as before for now. The bookkeeping for sent messages already runs on every turn, so this looks like a feature still being built and not yet switched on.\n\n- Area: Sessions\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 3\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
