Until now, a single typed number was always chosen automatically after a short pause. A menu can now switch that off. When it does:\n\n- typing a number no longer picks the option on its own; Enter, or the key bound to submit, confirms it\n\n- a number typed right after the menu appears or changes is ignored if it looks like you were still typing ahead\n\nThe automatic pick stays the default. Separately, Enter is no longer required when a menu has its own key bindings and the key pressed did not match one of them.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis stops a number typed a moment too early, or typed for something else, from choosing an option you did not mean to pick.\n\n- Flag `tengu_ax_sr_arrow_nav`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.315; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: not a boolean we can read) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Terminal UI\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 3\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
