On its own it can only lower that point. Remote sessions are those where `CLAUDE_CODE_REMOTE` is set. In those sessions there is now one case where the point can be raised. All three of these must hold:\n\n- the session is remote\n\n- `CLAUDE_AUTOCOMPACT_PCT_OVERRIDE` is set\n\n- the context window is small\n\nThen a number sent by the server replaces your override, if it is higher and no more than 100.
