When Claude Code reads your prompt history, it now loads that stored text and builds a fuller version of each entry with the pasted text filled in. The length it counts for an entry now includes the pasted text. There is a cap on how much pasted text it expands.\n\n**Why**\n\nSearching your prompt history can now find a past prompt by something you pasted into it, not only by what you typed.\n\n- Area: Elsewhere\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
