Two things were added:\n\n- A remote list naming side checks to retire. A side check on the list is skipped. The list is empty unless it is set remotely.\n\n- A policy for what to do with the safety check's verdict when a tool call was rewritten by a hook (a script you configure to run automatically) or by Claude Code itself. It can be off, keep the local result, or deny everything. It is off unless it is set remotely.\n\nClaude Code also records more detail about each safety check, such as which check ran and how a handoff between agents was described.\n\n**Why**\n\nThese give Anthropic a remote way to switch off parts of auto mode's checking and to set how rewritten tool calls are treated. Both stay inactive unless changed remotely.\n\n- Flag `tengu_copper_trellis`: Off in both readings (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.312; this account: off, anonymous baseline: off, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Flag `tengu_hazel_plover`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.312; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Flag `tengu_wise_origami`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.312; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Auto Mode\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
