It gains a second layout:\n\n- The dialog accepts a `frame` setting and draws a different frame when it is set; otherwise it uses the old layout.\n\n- The file permission dialog switches to a \"fitted\" layout when an internal state value is true. That layout has its own frame with cancel handling, a title suffix and an 'amend' tab hint. Symlink and diff paths are drawn through a wrapper, and side padding drops from 1 to 0. The diff view takes a new padding setting.\n\n- A new warning, \"Could not check where this path leads on disk\", appears in both layouts when a file's symbolic link (a shortcut to another file) could not be checked.\n\nWhat turns the fitted layout on was not traced.\n\n**Why**\n\nThe fitted layout may not be visible yet, but the symlink warning is: it tells you when Claude Code could not confirm which file on disk a path really points to before you approve.\n\n- Area: Permissions\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
