A new tool, `save_task_files`, saves those files to this computer, into a `task-files` folder for the current session. It applies to claude.ai connectors and SDK servers.\n\n- Every call asks for your approval.\n\n- Files are limited to 500 MiB, and names that already exist get a number added.\n\n- Results from looking up a task include a note listing its files.\n\n- The tool is offered only for tasks that have files attached.\n\n- It is not offered in remote sessions, environment sessions or sessions with no disk.\n\nUnless the feature is switched on, the tool answers that saving a task's files is switched off. It is off unless switched on remotely. In readings taken before this release, Anthropic's servers returned it on for this site's account and for a signed-out baseline.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis lets Claude Code in the desktop app or on claude.ai bring files from managed-agent tasks onto your disk, while you approve each save.\n\n- Flag `tengu_serene_frog`: Gate removed from the code (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.309; this account: on, anonymous baseline: on, compiled default: not a boolean we can read) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Managed Agents\n- Names: `save_task_files`\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 5\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
