When a subagent is resumed, Claude Code now records whether the main conversation is waiting on it.\n\nBefore, every resumed subagent was treated as a background agent, and its permission prompts were suppressed. Now a resumed subagent counts as background only when the main conversation is not waiting on it, and only then are its permission prompts suppressed.\n\n**Why**\n\nIf Claude is waiting on a resumed subagent, you can now see and answer its permission requests instead of having them silently withheld.\n\n- Area: Subagents\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
