Plan mode is a mode where an agent plans before it makes changes. When a teammate tries to leave plan mode, Claude Code now looks at that teammate's task:\n\n- If the task cannot be found, plan mode is not exited, and the teammate is told: \"This teammate's task could not be found, so plan mode was not exited. Ask the lead to approve your plan.\"\n\n- If the task is still in plan mode, or the task requires a plan, the plan goes to the lead for approval.\n\nBefore, approval depended on a general check of whether the agent was in a team.
