This applies when it runs in MCP mode. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is a standard way of connecting tools to Claude Code.\n\n- **Extra Usage turns:** if the turn was billed to Extra Usage (usage beyond your plan's included amount) and the `when_overage` setting is `skip`, the pass is skipped and those turns wait for the next pass.\n\n- **First look:** a quick model check can run first. If it answers \"no\" or comes back empty, the pass is skipped.\n\nClaude Code records each kind of skip. Before, a pass ran on every scheduled beat with neither check.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis can stop memory extraction from spending usage on turns billed as Extra Usage, and from running when there is likely nothing to save. Both settings are supplied remotely.\n\n- Flag `tengu_bramble_lintel`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.305; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: not a boolean we can read) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Memory\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
