A new comment on an artifact Claude Code is watching can wake it up to respond. Claude Code used to report that wake once, as soon as the comment arrived, as \"working\". Now each wake is held in a queue alongside the command it belongs to:\n\n- It is reported once your message for that turn actually starts.\n\n- It is forgotten if the command is cancelled, discarded or refused.\n\nUsage reporting for these wakes now also records whether the wake was queued.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis changes when a comment wake shows up as being worked on. It now waits for the turn to begin, so a wake whose turn never runs is no longer reported.\n\n- Area: Artifacts\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
