When you start an Artifact of the design type, Claude Code adds some guidance text to its instructions to the model. That guidance is now made from two separate pieces of text instead of one.\n\nClaude Code can also now build a slash command named after a published Artifact type. A slash command is a command you type that starts with `\/`. This command asks the model to create a new Artifact of that type. The wording of the request depends on whether a quickstart step is available for that type.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis changes the instructions behind Artifacts commands. It may affect how Claude Code goes about creating design Artifacts or Artifacts based on a published type.\n\n- Area: Artifacts\n- Tier: Under the hood\n- Useful: 1\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
