Several messages for this situation are new or changed.\n\n- `\/resume` now refuses when the terminal is attached to a remote session. It says it can't open this computer's conversations from there, and tells you to run `\/exit`, then `claude --resume` in a shell. Before, it went straight to the session picker.\n\n- A failed resume that throws a particular kind of error now shows that error's message in the conversation instead of being logged as a failure.\n\n- A new hint tells you to run `\/exit`, then `claude --cloud <session-id>` to open another cloud session, and says session IDs are listed at claude.ai\/code.\n\n- A message now says a command was not run because the folder the server was started in is gone, and that retrying will not help.\n\n- A `desktop_rc_refusal` entry was added to the information sent with requests.\n\n**Why**\n\nIn a terminal attached to a remote or cloud session, you now get a clear explanation and the exact next step instead of a picker that cannot help or an error that invites pointless retries.\n\n- Area: Sessions\n- Names: `\/resume`, `\/exit`, `claude --resume`\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 3\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: yes"}
