Claude Code can now show a notice for 3 seconds after you stash, saying the prompt was stashed and which key restores it. The key shown comes from your `chat:stash` key binding. The notice appears only in some display conditions.\n\nWhen you paste and there is no image to paste, the notice now also carries a short hint:\n\n- no image in clipboard, in a normal terminal\n\n- no image, try scp, when you are connected over SSH (a remote terminal connection, where your local clipboard is not available to the remote machine)\n\n**Why**\n\nBoth actions used to give little or no feedback in the terminal, so it was easy to lose track of a stashed prompt or to wonder why a paste did nothing.\n\n- Area: Terminal UI\n- Names: `chat:stash`\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
