It does two things:\n\n- It gives Claude a chart tool, `mcp__easel__chart`, that draws line, column, bar, sparkline and share charts.\n\n- It charts results from MCP tools automatically when they are metrics over time, such as from Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog. MCP tools are tools from outside servers connected to Claude Code.\n\nYou control the automatic charts with two settings:\n\n- `autoCharts`, shown as \"Auto charts\" in `\/config`, is on by default; turn it off to stop automatic charts.\n\n- `autoChartSkip` lists MCP servers whose results should never be charted.\n\nThe plugin is offered only on Linux and macOS, not to accounts under HIPAA or zero data retention (ZDR) terms, and only when a server-controlled switch allows it.\n\n**Why**\n\nIt brings charts drawn directly in the terminal, so trends in monitoring data can be seen without leaving Claude Code.\n\n- Area: Plugins\n- Names: `cc-plugin-easel`\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 5\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
