A remote switch is a setting Claude Code's servers can turn on or off per account. When the server sends nothing, this one falls back to off. Nothing about how the option works has changed in this release.\n\n**Why**\n\nThe option is present in the code but not switched on by default, and this release leaves it exactly where it was.\n\n- Flag `tengu_terminal_sidebar`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.301; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Terminal UI\n- Names: `showStatusInTerminalTab`\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
