That reply is now controlled by a remote switch called `tengu_memoized_owl`, which replaces the one used before. When the server sends no value, the switch falls back to off, as the old one did. When this site last checked, the flag server returned off for this site's account and for an anonymous one, though no reading has been taken under this release yet.\n\nThe reply also still needs all of these:\n\n- You are using the desktop app or claude.ai.\n\n- The app has not saved a device ID for its browser link.\n\n- No browser tool is connected.\n\n**Why**\n\nBecause the switch has a new name, anyone who had the old one turned on starts again from off until the new one is turned on for them.\n\n- Flag `tengu_memoized_owl`: Off in both readings (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.301; this account: off, anonymous baseline: off, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Flag `tengu_fizzy_minsky`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.301; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: not a boolean we can read) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Browser\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
