It still defaults to on. Nothing has been read about either switch yet.\n\n- The old variable `CLAUDE_CODE_SQUISHY_NEWT` and the switch `tengu_squishy_newt` no longer appear anywhere, so setting the old variable has no effect.\n\n- The same helper supplies instruction text mentioning `read_page_data` and \"to get its current version\".\n\n- User messages now get a `besideToolResults: true` mark when they meet two checks, one about where the message came from.\n\n**Why**\n\nIf you set `CLAUDE_CODE_SQUISHY_NEWT` to turn this behaviour off, for yourself or in an automated setup, that setting is now ignored. Use `CLAUDE_CODE_DAPPER_CUPCAKE` instead.\n\n- Flag `tengu_dapper_cupcake`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.301; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: on) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Flag `tengu_squishy_newt`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.301; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: not a boolean we can read) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Artifacts\n- Names: `CLAUDE_CODE_DAPPER_CUPCAKE`\n- Tier: Use it now\n- Useful: 4\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: yes"}
