A remote switch is a setting the server can turn on or off for an account without a new release. The switch sat next to the setting that decides whether requests are compressed. Claude Code no longer reads this switch, and its name no longer appears in Claude Code.\n\nBefore its removal, the server reported the switch as on for this site's account and for a signed-out baseline. No reading has been taken under this release yet.\n\n**Why**\n\nWhatever the switch used to control is now either built in permanently or gone. The server can no longer turn it on or off for you.\n\n- Flag `tengu_atomic_ocean`: On for this account, and not off by default (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.300; this account: on, anonymous baseline: on, compiled default: not a boolean we can read) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Internals\n- Tier: Under the hood\n- Useful: 1\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
