A JSON schema is a file that describes which settings exist and what values they accept. That schema changes in two ways:\n\n- `x-whenUnreadable` is a new entry. It says what Claude Desktop does when a key holds a value it cannot use.\n\n- `x-readers` now lists only the readers that actually read the bootstrap. It used to list every reader.\n\n**Why**\n\nAdministrators who set up Claude Desktop read this schema. They can now see how a bad value is handled, and the list of readers no longer includes programs that never look at the bootstrap.\n\n- Area: Managed Settings\n- Tier: Under the hood\n- Useful: 1\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: org\n- Heads-up: no"}
