Claude Code now has a way to keep track of which original messages went into a merged send. It uses this when you rewind (go back to an earlier point in the conversation) and when deciding whether a turn was left unanswered.\n\nThis is behind a remotely controlled switch, `tengu_mellow_heron`, which is off unless it is switched on remotely. The flag server returned off for this site's account and for the anonymous baseline in readings taken before this release.\n\n**Why**\n\nIt aims to make rewind and resume work properly for prompts that were merged or queued.\n\n- Flag `tengu_mellow_heron`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.299; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: off, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Sessions\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 3\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
