When a teammate is resumed, Claude Code now runs a plugin hook check first. A hook is a script that runs automatically at a set point, and a plugin is an add-on package for Claude Code. If a hook denies the resume, it fails with the message \"Subagent resume denied by a plugin\". Before, resuming a teammate ran no such check.\n\n**Why**\n\nPlugins can now stop a teammate from being picked up again. If a resume fails with that message, the cause is one of your plugins.\n\n- Area: Agent Teams\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
