One way it can address a message is through a bridge address. MCP servers are add-on programs that give Claude Code extra tools.\n\n- A new helper looks for a single connected MCP server that offers a tool named `send_message`.\n\n- The helper returns that tool's name only when the `tengu_flickering_lagoon` flag is on. The flag's built-in default is false. Nothing has been read about whether it is switched on for anyone.\n\n- When messages are sent to a bridge address, `SendMessage` now passes this helper to the check it runs before sending. When the flag is off, the helper returns nothing and the check behaves as it did before.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis lays down a path for delivering messages between agents through an MCP server's own `send_message` tool. Until the flag is on, sending to a bridge address works as before.\n\n- Flag `tengu_flickering_lagoon`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.299; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Agent Messaging\n- Names: `send_message`\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 3\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
