It uses that list to tell which features each side of a connection understands. Two new entries now follow the existing ones:\n\n- `readAllowLarge`, at version 7\n\n- `editOriginalFile`, at version 8\n\nYou do not need to set or change anything because of this.\n\n**Why**\n\nThe names suggest that new abilities for reading files and editing files can now be agreed between Claude Code and whatever is hosting it.
