When you move a session from your terminal to the cloud, the request can now carry your permission mode. Before, it carried only the environment and the branch for the result.\n\nThe mode is sent only when all of these hold:\n\n- your terminal last reported `auto` mode\n\n- a remote kill switch is not turned on (it is off unless switched on remotely)\n\n- auto mode is allowed for you\n\n- your settings can be read\n\nIf the server refuses the mode, Claude Code retries the move without it, so the cloud session starts in the default mode. The request can also carry details about which version of your code the session is based on.\n\n**Why**\n\nA session you move to the cloud can carry on in auto mode instead of quietly dropping back to the default and asking for approvals again.\n\n- Flag `tengu_happy_ocean`: Off in both readings (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.296; this account: off, anonymous baseline: off, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Cloud Sessions\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 3\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
