It adds a notification message to the session as if a task had reported in, which starts a new turn. A turn is one round of Claude reading the conversation and responding. This happens when:\n\n- An attached computer is back: a computer linked to the session becomes reachable again.\n\n- A late result arrives: a command that was stopped sends back its outcome after the fact.\n\nIt has limits:\n\n- Rate limited: it cannot fire over and over in quick succession.\n\n- Interruptible: interrupting the session stops it.\n\n- Default mode only: it only runs in the default permission mode, the mode where Claude asks before doing things that need approval.\n\nIt sits behind a remote switch, `tengu_violin_adjuster`, which is off unless Anthropic's servers turn it on, and behind one further check. The server returned on for this site's account and off for an anonymous account; no reading has been taken under this release yet.\n\n**Why**\n\nWork that was waiting on a machine or a slow command can pick up again by itself, so you may see Claude act in a session you were not typing in.\n\n- Flag `tengu_violin_adjuster`: Off by default, switched on for this account (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.295; this account: on, anonymous baseline: on, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Computer Use\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 4\/5\n- Signal: 4\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
