The notification is delivered through the terminal, using a channel such as iTerm2, kitty, Ghostty, or a plain terminal bell. Claude Code checks each message before sending it. If the plugin gives no title, the plugin's name is used.\n\nPlugin tool descriptions also get a longer length limit once Claude loads the tool through tool search, which is how Claude finds and loads tools only when it needs them.
