Claude Code can now hold back a reminder about them and release it once the oldest one has waited longer than a set number of minutes.\n\nThe reminder is only sent when all of these are true:\n\n- It is the main agent, not a subagent.\n\n- Nobody currently has the turn.\n\n- No other message is queued.\n\nThe number of minutes comes from a remote setting. When the server sends nothing, it falls back to 0, which means the reminder is off unless it is switched on remotely.\n\n**Why**\n\nIt is a timed fallback, so remote notifications that would otherwise sit unseen eventually get Claude's attention.\n\n- Flag `tengu_humming_sundae`: Not enough to say (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.295; this account: no value returned, anonymous baseline: no value returned, compiled default: not a boolean we can read) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Terminal UI\n- Tier: Nothing to try yet\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 3\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no\n- Present in the build but not switched on"}
