MCP servers are outside programs that give Claude Code extra tools, some of which change or delete things. When such a tool is allowed by an `mcpServerPolicy` rule, Claude Code now notes where that rule came from: a command-line argument or the current session. This is used to include those allowed write actions in what auto mode's classifier checks.\n\nThis applies only when `CLAUDE_CODE_REMOTE` is set and a remote switch is on. That switch is off unless it is switched on remotely. When last read, the flag server returned it on for this site's account.\n\n**Why**\n\nIn cloud and shared sessions, this changes which MCP actions that modify things the auto mode classifier gets to look at.\n\n- Flag `tengu_cowork_auto_mode_include_allowed_write_mcp`: Off by default, switched on for this account (read for one account on one subscription tier against v2.1.295; this account: on, anonymous baseline: on, compiled default: off) These values were read against a different version of Claude Code, so treat them as the nearest reading available instead of one taken on this release.\n- Area: Auto Mode\n- Names: `mcpServerPolicy`\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 2\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
