It also checks whether the classifier that makes those decisions can run. Before, the session's permission settings were taken as they were.\n\nWhen you leave the attached session, Claude Code restores your own auto mode state if the session had auto mode turned on.\n\n**Why**\n\nAuto mode can now be offered in an attached cloud session when the check allows it.
