Claude Code has a new reason to refuse to run in one. If the worktree's `.git` file leads git to a different repository from the one Claude Code keeps that folder's trust and settings under, Claude Code stops. Trust is your approval to let Claude Code work in a folder. The message tells you to start from the repository's main checkout instead.\n\n**Why**\n\nThis stops a worktree from running under another repository's trust and settings, which could otherwise apply permissions or configuration you never approved for it.\n\n- Area: Folder Trust\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 3\/5\n- Signal: 2\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: yes"}
