When a subagent reaches its limit on turns, Claude Code adds a note to its result, and that note could include a hint to send the agent a message so it can continue.\n\nThat hint now depends on whether the caller is able to continue agents. When it cannot, the \"Send the agent a message\" hint is left out of the turn-limit note, and the notice shown when a subagent's handback is withheld is worded to match. Before, the hint depended only on the type of agent.\n\n**Why**\n\nA caller that has no way to message an agent is no longer told to do so, so the note only suggests next steps that can actually be taken.\n\n- Area: Subagents\n- Tier: You'll notice\n- Useful: 1\/5\n- Signal: 1\/5\n- Scope: individual\n- Heads-up: no"}
